George Abbot School has a range of excellent facilities available to hire.  As part of its commitment to support the local community, the School is pleased to offer facilities for sports, leisure, arts and educational bookings.


Indoor facilities:
Various rooms are available with adaptable teaching and learning space, ideal for training, interviews, group activities and independent teachers/tutors. Specialist indoor facilities include:


• Conference Room - seats 60 people with a projector screen at the front (unfortunately the Conference Room does not have disabled access).

• Sports Hall Lounge - open space with flexible set up, a projector screen and kitchen  facilities.

• Hall x 2 - one seating 300 people and the other seating 150 people, however, can also be used as large open spaces.

• Gym x 2

• Changing rooms

• Drama studio - ideal for dance, drama and  fitness classes.


At present the School hires its facilities to local music classes, community fitness groups, sporting activities, theatre and drama schools - to name but a few.


Please note: The School halls, gyms and the Sports Hall Lounge are unavailable during the exam season (May and June).


Catering:
The provision of light refreshments, sandwich lunches or nibbles and canapés can be provided through the School’s onsite catering company, Innovate Services Ltd (excluding weekends and school holiday periods).


Special catering requests for large events may be considered upon request.

  
Sporting Facilities:
There are numerous sports facilities available for hire at  the School including a flood-lit All Weather Pitch, sports field, gyms, tennis courts and netball courts. The School can provide space for weekly training sessions, club fixtures, classrooms for coach education and meeting rooms for committee meetings/AGM's.


Surrey County Cricket Club
The School has close links with Surrey County Cricket Club.  The Club run an indoor cricket centre based on the grounds of George Abbot School.  The Cricket Centre serves to assist in the development of cricketers of all age and ability ranges.


The Centre offers additional indoor facilities for basketball, football, badminton and netball.

Please note: Booking slots for the Cricket Centre Sports Hall may be restricted due to Surrey County Cricket Club coaching sessions. Any bookings for this space are at the sole discretion of the Surrey County Cricket Club.


Rates
We are proud to offer competitive rates to support the local community. If you would like to enquire about the cost of a booking, please see email under 'To Book'.


As our rates are set with the support of the local community in mind, we are unfortunately unable to offer concessionary rates as we need to cover both caretaking and administrative costs.


Parking
Parking is available for up to 100 cars outside of school hours.


Terms and Conditions
The acceptance of any booking (excluding the Cricket Centre Sports Hall) is at the discretion of George Abbot School and dependant on the availability of an on-site Caretaker.


Booking Limitations:
Unfortunately the School is not able to accommodate bookings for the following activities:

• Martial Arts
• Religious Activities
• Various hardball sports (in indoor facilities)
• Any activities which may cause damage to the surface or surrounding areas.
