GEORGE ABBOT SCHOOL CELEBRATES POST-16 RESULTS
George Abbot students are celebrating an excellent set of A Level and BTEC results. The outcomes of this summer’s exams see students maintaining the outstanding standards for which the school is known.
44% of A Level grades are A or A*, with 69% of grades being A*, A or B. 16 students gained A* in 3 of their A Levels, with 3 students gaining 4 A*s. Indeed, 18% of all grades achieved at George Abbot were A*. BTEC results are also notable for their quality – 52% are Distinction* or Distinction and 90% are Merit or above.
These Year 13 results are richly deserved by a superb group of young people who have worked very hard throughout their Sixth Form journey. They have maintained focus and positivity: most of all they have become adaptable to change and leave school very well equipped for successful futures. We congratulate all of our 2022 Sixth Form leavers on exceptional outcomes.
