A clash exam is when there are two different exams scheduled for the same start time.  Under new JCQ regulations, where two exams total 3hrs or less, candidates will only be entitled to a supervised 20 minute break.  To ensure adherence to these new regulations candidates will not be able to revise.

Where two exams exceed the 3hr limit, candidates will be provided with a longer supervised break at the discretion of the School.  Under this type of arrangement candidates will be able to revise and have refreshments.
