We want to ensure that students who study in the Sixth Form will be able to meet the demands of their chosen subjects and achieve excellent outcomes. We also must make sure that our values and expectations are right for students and that they feel they are in the best place to be successful in their studies. Below is important information on how to apply to join the Sixth Form, whether you are a current George Abbot student or coming to us from another school.

The Sixth Form Team wish you the very best of luck with your GCSEs!

The video below explains the process of enrolment to sixth form, which opens at 9am on GCSE results day; 24 August, and closes at 5pm on Monday 28 August.

Your GCSE results will automatically be uploaded into your application if you are a current George Abbot student. The subjects you have met entry requirements for will be available for you to select. Please make any changes and confirm your subject choices by the deadline, no further changes will be made to timetables beyond Monday 28 August.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Sixth Form in September.

What you study at sixth form or college can affect your options at university and your future career.

Use Informed Choices to help you understand which subjects open up different degrees, particularly at Russell Group universities.
